O God of All Creation:

You shower us with blessings, blessings of flowers whose fragrance fills the air; trees standing tall sheltering birds joyously heralding each new dawn and caterpillers awaiting the miracle of transformation, children eagerly pressing bouquets of dandelions to a loving Mom. O God, how beautiful your creation; how blessed are we.

O God of Forgiveness:

How great your love, O Lord; you have redeemed us, made us your beloved children and you delight in us. You calm our fears with words softly spoken within us, "Peace, be still", ever reminding us of your steadfast presence. O God, how blessed are we.

O God of Compassion:

You hear the cries of the hungry, the fearful, children orphaned because of AIDS or natural disasters; the cries of the grieving, the painridden, and the lonely. O Lord, awaken us from apathy and make us instruments of your mercy and the beauty of your love.

O God of Love:

You give us the beauty of sun to warm and dry up the morning dew, gentle rain to refresh the earth and promote growth, stars and silvery moon silently beaming over the night simply because it pleased you to do so. O God, you are our light and salvation, our reason for being. O God of love, let there be nothing in heaven or on earth that can ever separate us from so great a love as the  beauty of your love.

O God of this day:

You are beauty, you are joy, you are love without reserve. O Lord, empower us with your Holy Spirit that we, too, may pass on your love to others.

Amen
